I have a set of a-arms. The duels that Dave Carter is building for me were built for a predator put they fit the e-ton. I can’t see why they would not fit the other way around.

Try reading this. I'm building a 90 for Kyle and I'm going with 19-28 sprockets and 18" snowhogs.

We ran 19-28 and 16" snowhogs on the 70 last year and it was silly fast. But they (who ever they are lol) say I should go to the 18" with the 90. Hope this helps.......

This was posted by Brad Loomis ;

18 - 32 = 1.78:1
18 - 35 = 1.94:1 Quickest ratio
19 - 36 = 1.89:1
20 - 36 = 1.80:1
19 - 28 = 1.47:1 Fastest ratio

The other real big contributing factor is tire roll out. The larger the tire the lower the ratio. So I take the circumference of the tire and divide it by the ratio for the final roll out.

19 - 28 ratio with 16" Snow Hogs ( 50" ) = 33.93
19 - 28 ratio with 18" Snow Hogs ( 54" ) = 36.64
19 - 28 ratio with 18" Duro Predator ( 59" ) = 40.04

So the 40.04 would roll out to the fastest top speed but would also raise the ride height and add more weight because of the larger tire. Using this equation I can find the same overall roll out for the 16" Snow hogs to lower my height and lessen the weight.

20 - 25 = 1.25:1
50" / 1.25 = 40.00 which is essentially the same as 40.04

Air pressure also plays a major part of the circumference of a tire.

I hope this can help some and good luck up north.

Yes sir, the hole's everything in mini quad racing !!! Kyle's always been good at it. Check out his web page, thats the 70cc I'm building him a 90 this year. Hence the parts for sale.

Thanks

GET YOUR WALLET OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s real cool we do it as a family. Just please do me a favor if you start. Build up the supension first don’t worry about the motor….
After you feel he can handle the quad then give him the juice !!!!!!!!!! I see so many first time dads giving there kids the juice with stock suspension NOT GOOD they can get hurt that way. If they take it hot into a corner and take it over the hay pails that’s no fun……..

We're running the 16" snow hog's on our TRX 90. The class we race in requires the engine to remain 100% stock, so we feel that the only real difference between the 16" snow hog and the 18" snowhog is the weight. the overall size of the tire isn't much difference. With the mini's, weight plays a major role in their performance.

We run a production class the only thing stock in the frame and the motor cases. Last year I ran the production 70 with 16” snowhogs and it was great, but with the 90 they are telling me I’ll just be spinning my wheels sorta speak. So the 18” snowhogs it is. But like I say we’re running pipes, jug kits, cranks and all kind of net stuff.

Well…………… If it was me I’d go with a E-ton, Kasea, DRX, Cobra, it all depends, I’d go to the tracks and see what they run, go to the pits and talk to mini quad parents. Call Cory at Kool Kidz ATV tell him etondaddy sent ya he’ll tell the gods honest truth he’s a good dude.

I don't have any experiance with that kit. I believe "BRACEY" on this site has a pro-fab dual a-arm front end for a polaris for sale. We run pro-fab a-arms on my sons Honda and we love it.

I must admit that’s the first time I’ve seen that kit. Just coming from me it looks like it would work. And would be legal in a production class because it’s bolt on. That is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a-arms. And if all goes to H#ll your not out that much.
