i have a 2003 ex and i don't have anything like that i have herd of people talking about it what is it and why don't i have it?

Did you by your quad new?

no but the stock clutch perch was still there and there wasn't any wires

Do you have to be in neutral to start your quad? If so, then they just cut the wires off. If not they taped them together and taped them up .
Do a search, tons of info. Sometimes if a question is asked over and over again, you dont get as many responses.

it has to be in neutral to strart so thay must have just cut them

Check about an inch from where the wires go into the starter/light/ onoff switch is.

On my bike, one is green and the other is yellow/green.
