Will post pic soon. Here is a Pure boost carb essentially a modified lectron. They retailed new for around $750. They have some options that make tuning easier. Like all lectrons they have great throttle response. They flow extremely well & atomize the fuel great resulting in assume power. desgined to be self compensating for weather & altitude changes. This one has the HV insert to help perfomance, adjustable power jet for tuning top end, adjust air screw for no tool requires tuning a/f mixture. Good for a 400 to 450 cc 4 stroke or 250 to 300 2 stroke. $199 shipped

How would this carb work for a 450r with just exhaust and a cam ? Would it end up hurting me ?

You would have much quicker throttle response. Designed to have better fuel atomization so you can expect hp will be better also. It is much less bulky than the stock 450r carb.

Your in box is full.

There are race engine builders like tc racing that have gotten more hp out of the this carb than the fcr. Yet both are good carbs.

Nice , Is this basically a bolt on and go ? Any mods needed for this carb ? for instance maybe jetting changes ? throttle cable ? Air boot ?

jetting is the only thing that i've ever found to be hard on these, they are entirely different way of jetting. its all coming from a needle, only problem i've found is that it costs 30 bucks for a new needle. Took me forever to get this type of carb jetted but they say it makes the most pk power out of the carbs. you may have to grind your throttle housing to make sure you can open the slide 100% that is fairly common thing to do with these carbs. maintance isn't bad i rarely cleaned it and it held up great without sticking. just dont expect not to tinker with any carb when your buying it just about any carb you buy you will need to adjust a little bit.

Yes you can either check your throttle to make sure it opens the slide all the way, or use the throttle & cable that comes with it.

What makes this carb much easier than most lectrons is the Air fuel adjustment & power jet adjustment. Makes it much easier to get it tuned. Now most places like Packard etc. know what needle to run. My first trial was when the Z400 came out & no one would or could tell me what needle to use so it took more time. Second that carb had no AF adjustment so much toucher to get it tuned.
