Just got the quad pieced together out of the crate. Owner's manual calls for loctite on certain bolts, 95 octane, and other things to get this quad ready to go.

What did you guys do or recommend doing?

Also, is it really necessary to run 95 octane in oklahoma in this quad?

How do you guys recommend breaking it in?

thanks,

Kelly

Lock tight what they say also ck rear caliper banjo at the end of the line we have had some that were loose.
Break in the eng. with 32.1 first tank full then we run 44.1 mix with full syn pre mix there after there is a lot of diffrence in opinon on mix some run 50.1 aswell 44.1 works best for us.
Change the green water out to either 50/50 mix we run engine ice in ours but not needed.
Then ride safe and enjoy.

thanks for the response, we have 100 at the pump and it's pretty nice, so I thought i might as well...

Another question..."Disassemble CVT cover and secure Transmission Cover bolts with blue Lock-tite."

Is this in the operator's left side? Sorry, just always messed with LT80's and 450's, so this if my first go round...

Did any of you loc tite the CVT cover and is it wet?

Yes it is on the left side and no it is not wet. That cover is just over the belt.

We service many bikes and have never locktite the belt cover and had no problems on cruiser minis or race minis.

Thanks for the response.

Got it started last night, kinda funny watching the daughter ride it. All she has ridden previously was an LT80, so it's gonna take some getting used to...LOL!!
