I am having trouble finding aftermarket parts for my 85 350x. i live in canada and would like to deal within the country though. i would also like to know what kind of parts will fit my bike off of other race bikes. i heard a 450r carb will work but i was also wondering about the exhaust system. please let me know of some places where i can get some parts for this bad boy

You should be able to find quite a bit for aftermarket parts. I don't know about Canada, but FST and others have a big bores. Try a Google search. The 400EX and 450R carb would work, but you would need to beef up the engine and/or jet down.

well if i change the carb and jet it down it will be pretty much pointless right? i will definately check out the big bore kits for it. is there any recomendations on what size i should go up to? i still want it to be reliable.

If you jet down a bigger carb, it will still give you better throttle response, but may be pointless if the engine is bone stock.

I know the 393 big bore and the 430 big bore stoker kit from Powroll are said to be reliable. A 350X engine can go up to 492cc's. That is what I will go for if I ever build one for my wheeler. :devil:
