is puttin a 10:1 wiseco piston in a 400ex without boring or anything good gains? and wat kind of gains? worth 150 bucks?

No, not without doing a cam. Since its already apart you might as well.

Of course it's good without a cam, it's even better with a cam though. I suggest Hotcam stg 2, it's a mid-top cam.

And you'll notice a ****load of power difference.

i would go with an 11:1 piston you can still run 93 octane pump gas with them

alot of people on here told me you have to run 93 but i don't think that 2 octane would make a big diference

Be careful....dependent on jetting, temperature and the riding your doing, you could dentonate with 91 and 93 octane using a 11:1 piston. You'll hear the pinging.....and switch to race gas when you hear it. LATER....

STFU!!!!!!

I did the 10.1 bs and its a was of time. Ended up buying a 11.1 and stage 1 cam, and threw the the 10.1 in the trash.

not saying it wont do anything but you are better off saving another $130 and buy a cam to install at the same time.
