Once the motors start to get that light brown tint and look ugly its hard to get them clean.

wd40 and an assortment of small brushes.

rinse lose crap off then coat it with simple green or a purple cleaner, then you have to hit everything with some sort of brush start big than go to a toothbrush after its dry (i use a leaf blower) coat everything on your quad with wd 40 it will stop anything from sticking to hard, making the next cleaning alot easier

First rinse off the motor, then spray gunk foamy engine gel all over the motor and any dirty spot's, let sit for 20 minutes or so, then spray off with a power washer, let dry then spray motor with wd-40 it will look brand new!!

Eagle One "Etiching" Mag Cleaner. $5 at any auto part store. And some green scotch brite pads. Trust me, mine was stained with Hawaii red dirt and nothing else worked.....i mean NOTHING. Now its clean again.

Take the exhaust off and use a Mothers power ball with some aluminum wheel polish. It you push too hard it will ruin the ball but the motor will clean up nice!!
