huge build for an mx quad? why then do you need to buy something that is already done up? most inquiring minds would think you'd start with a much CHEAPER stock bike and build from there. seems foolish to me to buy a bike with aftermarket parts that you're only going to swap out for different brands anyways.

sure would be sweet if you could find an 06 kicker to use for this build. if you knew somebody that had one, that might make a very affordable way to start an mx build!

just my 2 cents.

Tony,
Don't worry I'm not talking about going with everything different, I'm mainly just talking about doing alot of pc and stuff. I will be selling off some of the parts on the new one to make up for some new parts.

Thanks for looking out for me though.. your like the dad i don't have.. ;)

If I had that kind of money, personally I would buy a bare frame and start from there.... I've always wanted to build a quad from the ground up... this way you know exactly what is done to it, everything is fresh, you can put the exact parts on that you want.... plus who else can say that they built their own quad from the ground up?? Not too many people.

I usually don't post here but I was on Ebay today and I found a really good 450R all done up by Baldwin Motorsports it was sweet, I think the guy wanted $6500 for it not sure though, kind of makes me think about selling my 400.
