Kill Swich

Does anyone know if you can replace the key switch w/ a kill switch on a 99 400ex? If you can and you know how let me know. Thanks.

I'm doing it right now.

You'll need a copy of the wiring diagram for your bike.

I also took of the clutch lever safety switch - just snip it and twist the loose ends together.

Take the multi switch off, and figger out what wires go to where.

Once you understand that, you'll see how to re-wire it.

Its a little difficult to explain over the net.
