I actually just bought a brand new 300ex rear shock off of ebay for $85. It should be here sometime this week. I'll also let you know if I get mine first :)

That ronnie guy had a 300ex shock on the back of his 250, he said he needed to drill the shock mounts a little bit bigger:confused:

I just bought a pair of almost brand new 07 300ex front shocks for my 06 250ex. THEY DON'T BOLT RIGHT UP. The bottem shock mount is about a 1/4 inch to narrow. I'm trying to figure out what to do now. I would be bery interested in knowing if someone else made this wok. The only thing I can think of is having custom mounts made. Not sure if it would be worth the trouble. Also, they are slightly longer.

Recon shock mounts must be different than 250ex mounts then. My back shock didn't exactly bolt right up, I had to drill the shock mounts, and add spacers for the shock.
