You should have had heavy duty head studs, an HD cam chain and an oversized oiltank installed. You have to pay to play.

I run a regina z-ring gold chain. Any type of 0 ring chain will be the best (longest lasting w/ proper maintenance).
Here's the fohundert...
(and yes, the chain is loose;) )

There is no "best chain", It is all a matter of Personal preference and how you're going to use and maintain it. If you Search the powertrain forum you can find all kinds of use ful info on chains.

where did you buy the kit and who installed it.
I would say that almost 90% of the people that I've talked to about it (both people here and local shops) say that as long as you get a good kit and have it installed properly by yourself or a pro, then they are great.
One of the local guys has had the 440 stroker in his for 3 years, and raced it for all 3 years with no problems.

Hey guys reading what you guys are talking about , the 440 kits they are not something you just get on and beat the crap out of you have to where them in before you get on them 2 or 3 rides 1 2nd and 3rd gear work the piston in slowly there is a good read in this foreum about the 440 kit and the first couple of rides look it up and read. Its very interesting.good luck going back to stock im going BIG BORE.
