Of course we still ride :) (I need to justify the $$ spent on the Raptor rebuild/upgrade)

I'm not going to disclose the locations online, but I wouldn't mind meeting up some day to show you around...

All of those locations are within riding distance of my house - on occasion we trailer to the top of one of the mountains so as to not ride on any public roads - hard to justify 15 minutes of loading up for a 10 minute ride, but it takes away from worrying about tickets.

I love hearing how "a raptor can't make it where I ride." Uh huh... My favorite was hearing that after making it 4 hours in on the Tolland (gas) pipeline trail. I actually saw a banshee up there, but I'm not sure if he rode as far - we parked on Route 8 by the green bridge.

Riding is still around, just nowhere near as plentiful when I was younger. It's amazing to see the new developments and urban sprawl destroy nature, not just the riding trails. Furthering my disappoinment, my city has recently purchased atv's to patrol area trails/sandpits. Unbelievable...

I did. Why do you ask? Do you recognize the store, or was it your quad? I actually bought it used in 02 (it is an 02). That is the day I picked it up. Want to talk butterflies... try a 14 year old shelling out $5800 for an atv... At the time, it was a steal for an OTD price on the top of the line atv. It came with GYTR heel guards, frame guards, shockcovers, reservoir covers, bumper, water pump cover, oil filter cover, and full skidplates. (Hell, that's almost $1G right there...

The valve seals went bad and I found a builder down in Virginia ( Coal Shed Racing; www.coalshedracing.com ) that hooked me up for an unbelievable price.

Whereabouts in Newtown? I have spent parts of the past couple summers in Newtown at my high school physics professor's house, getting it ready for the market; he's looking for a home closer to school. He has an awesome lakeside home on Lake Zoar. (The infamous lake where some murderer froze the victims body and fed the pieces into a woodchipper on the banks of the river/lake.)
