does any quad power slide in sand??

it wont fix it...............its not like ice
if you sit in the middle and try to do 30' sweeps your going to take flying lessons

put alot of body lean on it and you will have a blast
but dont think of the sand as a handleing fix

Look, I have ridden Raptors at Glamis many times. They are still tippy and hard/scary to slide. My buddies that ride them use wheel spacers and zero preload shocks to lower them. It helps alot, but I still think they are the hardest quad to ride the dunes. You hit the gas and the front end comes off the ground, so you ride the wheelie untill the next turn, where you have to let off the gas to turn, you muscle it around the turn and hit it again. It'about a hundred times harder than ripping into a turn, pitching it sideways, sliding around the turn and hitting the gas again, like on my yfz 450.

yes, it will help. You can also flip the front rims to make the front wider. (I wouldnt ride mx/woods with it due to bump steer but in
the sand it shouldnt be too bad)

alot of people run offset rims with their dune fronts just for that reason.
