i'm switching my 250 over to long travel. i found a set of +4+1 a-arms and a set of +3+1 a-arms both the same brand, and price. i have their +3+1's now just standard travel. i think i'm at 48" or so on the bottom of my tires now (with stock honda rims). would the +4's make it way too wide? i could put 4/1 offset rims on it to narrow it some more to keep it legal. i'm thinking that my stock offset rims and +3's would almost be the same as +4's with 4/1 offset rims. does this seem right???

A +3 LT front end will be probaby be right at 49-49.5 inches that is with 4-1 wheels. Any wider than +3 and you will be over 50. The only way a 250R works with +4s is with a laeger narrow frame. I know that I can't run my Douglas billet front 4-1 wheels with my +3 protrax, I have to run the conventional center douglas wheels to stay under 50, yeah it's that close.

at the most i'm at 49 inches w/4.5 degrees camber and thats with stock offset wheels. with 4/1 offset that would be 48 inches and the extra 1" a-arms (+4's) would be 50"

i'm going to measure the width tonight to see where its at already

yeah okay i guess i was off i took a square and marked off the floor and then measured that distance. it was just over 50" like 50 3/8". so i guess i'll be getting the +3+1's for sure now so 49.5 seems accurate for 4/1 offset rims and +3's
