Cool pics :macho I bet you and that M4 are best friends by now :D What is that on your helmet? Does it flip down so you can have night vision?

Hope you get home safely and thanks for this service to protect our country :)

Thanks everyone. The thing on my helmet is a night vision monocle that flips down. It also detaches and you can just put it up to your eye, or in my case my camera. Can't wait to download those pics! As for the M4 being my bestfriend...Well, yeah, but it will be nice to take some vacation away from it. lol. Now, as for being on the other side of my guns....nobody wants that!!! haha.

Thanks again for all the support

No you wouldn't there are many people who think that they might not beable to do something until that moment comes and then they do what is needed. You need to push yourself from time to time to see what your really all about. It's a good way to really know who you are.

I see your from HB. I grew up in Fullerton. Surfed HB ad Newport river jetties back in the day.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't counter surveillance mean that you want to stay unseen to those who may be surveying you. A flash from the camera is a great way to " lurk in the shadows", lol. We couldn't use anything but a low level red LED or and IR LED and AN PVS-14's when I was there last year.

Be safe.

Hurry home.
