I was wondering if I should switch to a twist throtle or stay with the thumb, which would you think would be better for mx racing?

Also for those who have a 400ex 2005 or better what can you buy to take off the original ignition switch were the lights and factory kill switch go. I dont need it anymore and I dont know if just buying an after market kill switch will do the job. Thanks for any help I can get.

It is soley on rider preference regarding twist or thumb throttle

You can install a push button kill switch from a motorcycle (cr250, kx 250 etc) and eliminate the factory switches.

It has been awhile since I personally did one, but its not that difficult. (my brother handles all my mechanocal work these days so I know how to do it , but id butcher the instructions and wouldnt want to give you bad info)

a company called terry cable makes a product called the dual gasser. it is a twist/thumb combo. they say it works great. it costs 150, which is a bit steep but i think it is a good investment. i know i will buy one. any way, just an idea.
