I just got off the phone with Jackie Meadow’s father. Jackie suffered a broken collarbone and some serious bumps and bruises. They think something let go on the front end upon landing. They’re not sure what happened at this point. Jackie’s attitude is positive and isn’t going to let this have any affect on his preparation for next season.
For those that don’t know Jackie returned to the atv racing scene after a fourteen year absence. Before returning his last ride was in 1988 for team Kawasaki. Upon his return this year Jackie finished 9th overall in the 250 Pro TT, 6th in the 250 Pro-Am, Pro Short Track 3rd and Short Track Pro-Am 7th. Not bad for someone who’s been out for fourteen years?
