i was doin some maitnence on my quad and discovered that my pipe, ( aftermarket ), isnt tight enough on my header. i can even feel air comin' out of the spot where the pipe meets the header. do i need a new pipe or can i fix this one. an experianced answer would be greatly appreciated.

:confused: Dou you mean, "where the header meets the muffler"? Not that big a deal. Now if the header at the cylinder head was leaking a littler bigger deal. Does the bike pop when decelerating?

Mine does the same thing on a brand new HMF full exhaust. It leaks where the slot is cut in the below pic.
I tried moving the clamp forward and backward and loosened the header trying to push it forward but nothing stopped it.

gaskets can be bought for that...as well as the header into the engine...

Then why didn't they include one with the pipe?
Seems like they would have dropped one in the box, I've seen the ones for the header into the engine.
