my 06 450r has a aftermarket long travel ling on the rear shock . does anyone know who makes an aftermarket swing arm skid that will cover the rear link. it's a lot lower than stock...thanks

i don't think any one makes a skid plate for the long travel yet.
i took a prm and cut out the box.do a search.this has been brought up a few different times

yeah the only thing i don't like is that there nothing protecting your $300. linkage

PRM makes one with the linkage box cut out or you can put spacers in the top 4 bolts to get enough clearance for your linkage

yes,but if u used spacers don't u have to space it out like 1 inch or something

I only had to space it about half an inch for my elka linkage - I used 4 washers up top and 3 in the middle.

i have the dual linkage and i tried to space it out and its really low to the ground

well i would go with the prm with the linkage box cut out - i've used both the spacers and this skid. Your linkage will be fine. That thing is strong!

PRM will make you a skid plate to cover your aftermarket linkage. Call them up and talk to a sales rep about how much space you need.

Yeah call PRM i just cut out my section out and it was a ***** but it will work now.Dont worry about the linkage showing it will be fine!!There mega strong!!It will gouge and wear b4 it breaks!!!!!!
