straight pipes??

is it a good idea to get straight pipes right from the motor out or will i lose power?

It wont hurt the engine so long as you rejet it properly. In my opinion it will be pretty pointless. An aftermarket pipe will give you more power because they're tuned for the motor it's going on. But to answer your question, the only power difference you'll feel is a little more top end. But it's your quad we cant stop you from doing it.
