HI Guys,
I just bought a punched out 440 cylinder off Ebay and im wondering what piston to use? Its a wiseco sleeve. I have heard great things about JE Pistons and i am leaning in that direction. What do you think.

Can't go wrong with Ross, JE, or Wiseco.

If I had a choice I would pick the piston that is the lightest. There is a very small difference in weight between those manufacturers. On my 416 bore the difference between the lightest and heaviest of the three (Wiseco, Ross and JE) would see an additional 157 lbs load on the rod at 9100RPM!!


Make sure you measure the cylinder first to verify it is the right bore size before you buy a piston.

Yeah, I'd agree with him, only I've never dealt with Ross, but Wiseco and JE are great.
