Best Slip on exhaust z400?

Not looking for the loudest, looking for the best mid range slip on.
I live minutes from LRD. Any thought on theirs? CT? Yoshi? Duncan? etc??

The difference in any of the slip ons in power is minimal so any of them will work great. But if you plan on installing a head pipe in the future you may want to look at one that is capable to fitting a head pipe. The head pipe is where you will see the most gains, especially in the top end. Some do have different bends and straights to them for different power curves. I prefer the Yosh systems but that is just my $.02.

I heard HMF makes a preaty good slip-on. Dyno charts were showing huge gains, espically in torque

i can vouch for that. my HMF slip on gave me a bunch of low end grunt and even increased my mid and top end quite a bit.

also someone said that you will notice most gains from a different headpipe. i have heard different... that you wont see a lot more gain with a full system rather than just a slip-on. i don't know which is correct but to me it seems like you wouldn't get all that much more performance out of a full system. ofcoarse you will see gains but how much more over a slip-on? the way i figure it a slip-on is just fine for the average joe as it gets rid of the factory muffler with all kinds of baffles and junk in it and puts on a straight through muffler. that will obviously make a big difference right there. that is my theory anyway...

there was a article in atvrider where motoworks slip on made more hp on a ltr than any full system. i dont know how they would do on a z, but they seem to have areally good exhaust.

Well i would HIGHLY reccomend HMF, and then LRD...Athough they are both on the top for loud. BUT they maintain a kick *** low sound throught the rev's.

HMF for the Kawi or Z. the guy who commented above me put one on haha and its a noticable difference between the stock ltz that comes down to rude

i have 2 buddies with z's, one has an hmf and the other has a yosh, i think the hmf sounds better but yosh/suzuki have always gone together

This new Whitebrothers E2 exhaust is Hot! It comes with 2 end caps. One for the parks and one for Competition. The quality is second to none. The sound is deep and it Roars when you punch it. I love this exhaust!

I have a HMF slip-on with no air lid and a UNI. It's awesome! It gave me butt-loads of torque and great mid to top end! I can use a blip of the throttle to lift over obstacles on the trails, and as for racing, WOW!!! It helps me tremendously! All-in-all, it's a great pipe!!! To give an example of the increase, I'm 115 lbs. and my dad is 250 lbs. and rides a Raptor 700R. We raced the other day, 2 dead stop take-offs, 3-20 mph rolls, and a few 40 mph rolls, and everytime, I had a half bike on him until around 60 mph, then the insane power of the raptor pushed him ahead!!
