How much is my 400EX worth?

Hey guys. I am going to sell my baby... I need cash for school and my Jeep needs a little bit of work.

So, here are the specs:

-2000 Honda 400EX
-White Brothers slipon w/ FMF header
-K&N Filter + jet kit (tuned)
-over 1/2 left on Maxxis Razr rear tires
-DG Nerf bars
-DG bumper
-O'Neal handlebars

I'm down at school now so I can't exactly go out and look at it...

I'd say it is in very good condition for it's age. I've never been in any wrecks.

Ok, well, if you were me, what would you put in the paper? $2500/$2600?

yea id post it at 2600 or best offer, its a nice bike , also the name of your tires are razrs

Thanks a lot. I've tried to take good care of it. I'm really going to miss this thing... :( I've had it since I was in 7th grade (now a sophomore in college).

Anyway, I think I'll go ahead and sell it in a few months. When would the best time be? I'm assuming soon since summer is coming and people wanting one will want to get a bike before the season.

well you can post it as soon as you want, id wait for warmer weather, like spring then post it, you could try now and see what kinda offers you get, yea its hard to part with them because there so much fun, but you can always get another one down the road. good luck

Very true. I think I'm going to wait till spring time comes; maybe sometime around my Spring Break (maybe even later toward summer...)

Are these things very hard to sell? I imagine not, but still...

yea spring break should be good, , a 400ex is pretty easy to sell, you shouldnt have a hard time, just post it in your local paper and on here also
