ac nerf bars? tricks to fit?

the usual ac nerf bars won't line up. I was thinking of warming them up a bit with a little heat to get them to bend easier to fit. anyone see a problem with that idea??

Just keep the footpegs loose until you get everything lined up. I've never had a problem putting AC's on my YFZ, Raptor or LTZ.

i had to use really long bolts before and then tighten them up as far as i could then swap one out at a time. you can use some clamps too but the bolt idea keeps them inline ... good luck :devil:

dont heat them up. aluminum is a tricky metal to work with. one second it will be hard as a rock, half a second later it can be a puddle on the floor.

yes the last thing you need to do is heat it. i had to pry mine into place and then beat it on with a rubber hammer. then used large bolts to finish it up.

take some tie down straps and hook them to the nerfs and then hook the other end to something firm that can hold alot of pressure, then tighten them up until they line up
