Has anyone tried out the alba power elite kits? they are a-arms and elkas for like $750.

I run a z400 and need to bump up. Is it necassary to get a wider axle at the same time? I figure +2 ar-arms, meaning +4 axle???

Its a pretty good deal, mind you it will be the recreational elkas. No adjustments. Also it is not completely necessary to get a wider axle although it will help tremendously. I would do the rear suspension first. That is more vital in my opinion. You are not supposed to run ZPS style shocks in the front and non-ZPS in the back. It will ride and handle very funny.

if you have the piggyback z400 shocks I would send those out to be revalved because you don't want to go backwards in adjustability. It doesn't make any sense. Also if you send it to a good shop the valving will no doubt be better then what you will get from elka.
