Shee for cheap

hey guys, a friend of mine was trying to conince me to buy a shee, it an 04 i tihnk and it needs and entire motor, he said the crank went thorugh the side of the engine, he said its a decent bike, im sure its mostly stock, and hes said $350, is this a good deal, or will i get screwed looking for a motor:confused:

ive always wanted a shee, but im not saure if its this 1:ermm:

Yeah... i've had two banshee's.... there alot of fun. That is a REALLY good deal.... if anything you could sell it for much more than that on e-bay, or part it out, or find another motor and ride the hell out of it...:D

ok ill convince my dad to get it, he wants a bigger bike, his suzuki quyadsport 230 is way too small, hes blowing it up

definetly get it...you can get a shee motor for $700-1500 depending condition, year, etc. a lot of people sell their shee ends to chop their frames up to put in gsxr motors so i bet there are a lot of shee motors on ebay. also look around for banshee forums like bansheehq i bet they have quite a few...

you could geat a running shee (an 04, which is pretty new) for under $1500...that'd be nice!

how beat is the rest of it tho?


Lets asume the worst, bald tires, torn seat, bent bars, worn grips, bent wheel or 2. and obviously blown motor


350$ for quad
300$ for 4 tires
200$ for a cupple wheels
800$ for a motor
50$ for new handle bars
10$ for grips
40$ for seat cover

thats 1750$ once you done asuming there isnt anything eltse.

yeah, i talked t my dad about it, he said hed love to get it if it comes with everything, including the blown motor...

one tihng u guys forgot was exhaust, if u buy an engine, its not gonna come with an exhaust, theres another 400:eek: its gotta have aftermarket:devil:
