I just got my temp 400EX wheels in for my project quad. They are a little rough on the lips with nicks. Yes, I knew that before buying them so don't take it like I'm mad about it. Anyway how should I go about fixxing them up? I figured I'd have to use some sort of abrasive to knock down the edges and work my way to finer stuff before polishing them. Here's the thread I got them from. Thanks.

there not even that bad...i would just take some sand paper(200grit) rub it around the edges couple times and they'll look fine

Yeah, they're not that bad. But I wouldn't mind putting some elbow grease into them to make them a little better.

I would look into getting some sanding wheels for a grinder, die grinder, dremel. w/e. They have them in all difrent grits. we use them at work. "Walter" makes them for grinders

Clean up the deep scratches and get them powder coated

That's a little more than I would want to spend on them. I'm going to trail it some anyway.
