I am looking to make my XC bike more potent. As of right now I am using a hc2 and I was wondering would a crf 02 or baldwin xc cam be better? I am probably going to go with a 11.5 piston so i can use pump fuel. As of right now I have the lid on and was also wondering should I get the HRC lid or ehs lid? Are there any xc riders use a fcr carb on there 04? Almost forgot, does anybody use a dyna ignition and does it hurt reliability? THanks

I run a HRC cut lid with panty hose over the hole. Never had any problems bogging when going through water. For my motor I have HC stage 2 and 13.1 piston. Havnt got to race with it yet but the power hits nice.

I'm running the Baldwin XC Cam in my 07. I had it in my 06ER for a while and I loved it. It made it much more rideable in the woods with adding power everywhere. For the airbox lid I run a EHS Racing setup. It works good and I don't have any complaints about it.
