I've been riding for about 8 years now and only been racing about 3, Some people say I'm too big to race!!! WTF! I'm 5'9 220 and faster than most people on the local tracks. I mean, my suspension is setup for my weight and everything, and I can jump everything on the track. I guess its because you never see a "big guy" racing in the pro nationals, or in videos or on T.V.

What's your opinion?

I've seen guys alout bigger than that out there. All that matters is if you are having fun doing what you want to do!!!GREG

Don't worry about it too much. I am 6'1"- 240lbs and I can ride pretty well for my size. The only problem is- is that in most cases I can't go the distance. So now I am going to the gym at least 3 times a week trying to shed some weight and gain some endurance. Hey, GNC PRO Joe Byrd is like 210lbs but he is also 6'4" and he won the title!
