Okay, so I guess I should have paid attention to that. I just received rims that have the correct bolt pattern as my hubs, but the bolt holes are 1/2" and my bolts are only 3/8". The rims will mount on the quad but because there is play around the bolts it's impossible to center. What should I do? Is there an adapter or bushing I can buy with 3/8" ID and 1/2" OD that I can slip over my bolts to keep the rims from moving laterally? Or maybe bolts that have a 1/2" diameter smooth shaft for 1/4" next to the head, followed by 3/8" diameter threaded shaft? The bushing would be easier, because I would be able to use my existing bolts and not worry about maching pitch, etc.

Could you help out an idiot by giving some advice?? Thanks!!

return the wheels for the right ones..

Or run a tapered lug nut to fill in the gap

What kind of rims are they?

Are they setup for a flat lug nut, or a tapered lug nut.

Rims setup for flat lug nuts will fit tight, but any rim with a tapered arrangment usually will fit loosely, but with the tapered lug nuts, it self centers and tightens down just fine.
