oils

i went in to my local dealer the other day and i asked what oil i should be running in my transmission. They gave me hp trans oil on the back it says Hi-performance trans oil for all honda 2 strokes mototcycles and atvs i asked about it and they said it is okay to run in the tranny side only. i looked in my owners manual and it says to run SAE 10w-40 but the oil they gave me was 80w/85w would it be okay to use

Honda HP 80/85W trans oil is good stuff!

u can ran the 10/40 on both or run the gear oil on the tranny side its up to you!!!I run the 10/40 in my 160 HP streetbike and it lubes both so i feel safe with 10-40 on the gear side on my quad!!!
