View Full Version : custom headlights
Has anybody used vehicle driving lights for headlights. I just got a YFZ and the headlights were removed and want the lights but with a custom look.

I haven't heard of anything other than the kind of fog type lights you buy at any auto store. Now on a different note I do remember using a round auto headlight out of a '70 Cutlass duct taped and zip tied to the handle bars so I could ride my trusty 250x when I brought her home.If I remember correctly it plugged right up.
I think Im gonna get some oval driving lights blue lens with a chrome housing. I was wanting to make sure they would burn due to stock being 35w and auto usually being 55w.

I don't think you could go over the factory wattage with out getting a different stator. You'll ruin the stator the electrical system on the 04 had problems anyways.
