wiseco piston 12.5:1

whats the true amount of compression on the 12.5:1 wiseco piston. on stock 05 cylinder head. if anybody has measured this. thanks

What year 450R is this for?

Wiseco does not make a 94mm 12.5:1 piston.

They make a 11.5:1 and a 13.1:1.

Is this for the 06/07 96mm bore?

Ahh...gotcha.

The static CR is 12.5:1.

What matters the most is the dynamic compression ratio.

Depending on what came you use this piston in conjunction with...the dynamic compression ratio can vary greatly.

I'm definitely not an expert in this area. But using a "mild" shelf cam with this piston would probably yield lower than 12.5:1.
