I'm having a extremely hard to time choosing which nerfs to buy, I want ones with heelgaurds but I like to put my feet far back on the pegs and lots of people say that they don't get room while wearing boots, They have to be pro-pegs though, any ideas? I'm also looking to spend as LESS money as possible.

Also, can you post pics of your nerfs with or without heelguards?

I know you said you didn't want to spend alot of money but the IMS nerfs are awsome, theres plenty of room behind the peg to put your foot back.heres a pic of mine.

I'm not to sure about the pro armor's I've seen the heelguard bend down on a lot of them, theres even some ppl on here that had it hapen to them

the pro armors also dont have alot of clearance between the tire and the heel guard. example if you ever decide to run bigger rears like zippers or a 4 snow they will rub the heel guard.

I don't think i'll be getting nerfs with heel gaurds, I might gte some AC Propegs, some people have told me that it looks like your foot will get eaten by the tire but it really doesn't. Anyone where the cheapest place to get AC Propegs are?

Why don't u just get a set of Tusk Nerf Bars for 100 bucks from Rocky Mountain ATV. They are the same style as the X-factors, Bolt right on, just buy a set of heel guards and over sized pegs off ebay. All u have to do with the nerf bars is drill to holes in each peg, its like a 15 min job if that. I bought them for my 450r and I love them more than i did my AC pro pegs on my old ex.

My Vote would go for the AC Pro Pegs. I had a set on my 400ex and i just bought a set of AC Blackline Pro pegs for my YFZ.

What does AC Blackline mean? I see some on ebay that say AC Blackline but aren't black.

Pro armor nerfs are good.. durable, good fit, and I wear a size 14 boot and no problem with room on the heel guards...

Price? Got pictures? I may be interested, I don't usually buy second hand parts though. I don't like having things that others may have abused, not accusing you of anything.

looking for around 110+shipping, i will be straight up, there are a few dents and dings in them from woods riding but this is happens within a few outings anyway, nothing is bent, these will bolt right up unlike a new set of AC racing nerfs, the pegs are in great shape, nets are in good condition, i would still be running them if it wasnt for me switching quads

if you will give me your zip i can get you a shipping quote, also do you have paypal?

i have dg chrome lights i like them because there is a bar that runs behind the peg, so it is like it makes the peg much better.

I have the AC Pro Pegs and love them. They have the double wide peg so any worry about not having enough heel room doesn't matter. I've hit decent sized jumps in sandals ( just to test out how the bigger peg feels on landing) and it felt great. Just don't ride barefoot cuz it'll hurt, lol. The grip is awesome.

IMO you guys that run with no heel gaurds are nutts, wait till one day your foot slips off an the tire eats ur leg..

Here's a pic of the 400 without the heal guards. The rear of the nerfs looks so close to the rear tire because I run 22's on the 400 for clearance (dice runs, poker runs....etc.) BTW - In my 25 years or so of riding I have never had an issue with my foot slipping off and getting chewed up without heal guards on any quad I've ever had, even with the stockers removed. I'm not promoting the idea, I might just be lucky - your mileage may vary....;)
