I've been getting interested in buying an Ipod and I have some questions about them.

Whats the best one out there or one that is not so expensive?
Does it cost a lot to download the songs, how many can you put on it?
What does it take to download them?

If anybody has them please tell me how you like them cus I would like to buy one.
Thanks Dallas

the number of songs it will hold depends on the one you buy...i have a 2GB ipod and it holds about 400 songs...i use bearshare to download my songs so it doesn't cost anything....to download them you need itunes and windows2000 or above

i have the nano 2G and i have 509 songs and its not full. but they make 2gig nanos-about 500--$150
4gig nanos-about 1000--$200
8gig nanos-about 2000--$250
30gig videos-7500 songs and 150 hours of video--$250
used to make 60 gig videos-15000 songs and 250 hours of vid-$400
80gig video--you never could fill it.-$400?

my nano holds and insane amount of batttery, thats why i like it so much. i heard when you hook a video into your car and play it through the speakers, it skips some. go to apple.com for more info. and itunes is easy as cake to use.

I only need something that will hold about 500 songs. what would you guys and girls suggest? I only want to play music no videos for me, but if it comes with video capabilites then that's ok.

its a music player that holds songs and videos and stuff depending on the model...

its about 1/4 inch thick and 2 inches wide and 5 inches long... it has ear phones and plays songs u download off the net...

they are great to walk around campuses with at college and to listen to music when u have to be quiet... noone else can hear what ur listening to...

i have a 2gb with about 400 songs on it

Pappy, they're smaller than a pack of cigarettes but most of them are bigger than a business card.

I have a black and white 20gig u2 edition kinda want one of those zune things if ipod doesn't come out with a better video with i bigger screen. My u2 has 959 songs on it right now i need to update it i have a little over a thousand on the comp. Trust me you will end up going over 500 songs i am glad i didn't get a nano-mini. actually they didn't have the nano when i bought mine nor the video. I kinda want a little crapy mp3 player that i can listen to on my atv wen i ride. and if it gets broken o well.
