check the cc rules, many limit the motor displacement.

suspension will need some work

A 500 was my FIRST MX bike and they are HEAVY. They do OK when you learn to really ride them but till then the shear torque of the motor will be the only reason you finish decent. You can dog the 500 around in 3rd gear and never touch the clutch. If you want a big 2-stroke to race, get a Banshee. You can still get al the parts for them. I've heard you'll be digging through junkyards for 500 parts.

not really you can go to worldofpowersports.com and get any part oem that is for it
