My brother has chrome plastics on his CR250 they look really good just like the raptor. but he paid $250 for a full set for a bike it is hard to believe that those are 3k. what are they made of to be 3k?:huh :huh :huh

makes no sense to me, I don't see how and plastic can cost $3000, unless it was some spaceage stuff that can cause your quad to fly! Now that would be worth $3000, but some chrome plastic I wouldn't pay even $1,000 for it. I do like it, but not that much.

I dont understand it either!! its just like the stuff that plastic hubcaps are made of!! Its just real shiny plastic!!! I thought The rims that were on my wifes car(2002 Grand AM GT) were chrome for a while until the first time I cleaned them,,,they are plastic!!!

I will try to find the number to the people who make it. It was in the December 2000 of Dirt Rider. I actually called them earlier this year cause I was going to get my bro some new side panels but they said they didn't make them anymore. To much of a pain. But at the time (April) they said they were the only people they knew of that made them. It kind of looks like that color changing krylon you get at checker.

That is the same thing I though when I washed my sisters car. I was spraying it down when I hit the wheels and was like WTF? Cheap american made cars.:rolleyes: :(

there is a company that can chrome your plastic for a lot cheaper and better too i think than that expensive stuff. check out http://www.BBTPerformance.com

It is kinda funny I hope the guy w/ the raptor sees this. It is like he is trying to be a bad ***** show off. I hate people like that, there is this guy at work who has a zo6 corvette it is a bad car but he is telling me that it was like $71,000 and it is bone stock. I hate it when people try to blow smoke up your *****. :confused:
