400ex shocks on my R

my friend had an 86 R with 400EX shocks, it was an improvement also. :D

They will bolt right up. I got a set on one of mine.

yep, bolt right up! but if i recall correctly, it will slightly raise the front end.

If your planning doing OEM shock swaps, you may consider getting some 450R units instead. There's always a set being sold on Ebay all the time. I got mine for about 160.

Here is a frontal shot with them on my quad. If you use stock length a-arms, both the 400ex and 450r shocks will have the quad sitting about 1 inch higher. I am using +2 arms
