View Full Version : Anyone use Mobil 1 ?

My next oil change i am switching to fully synthetic.
Is anyone using Mobil 1 racing 4T? or MX4T it's same just new name.
If so How long?
Any problems?
Any clutch problems?

You will be fine running that oil since it is specially formulated to run in motorcycle engines that have wet clutches :)

Use it all the time, also in my motorcycle as well. Expensive though. Not one problem, only oil I use.

I agree it is good oil....I used to use Mobil 1 in my quad and truck. It is on the expensive side though so I run Shell Rotella T full synthetic 5w40 in both now. It is just as good as Mobil 1 but can be found at Walmart for $12 a gallon. I wouldn't run it if I didn't think it was one of the best synthetics :cool:

we have also started running the rotella t 5w40 with good luck in all of our machines. we switched from the mobil 1 because it was just so expensive, however i think i'll be switching back during the summer to the 20w50 mobil 1. it seems to keep my engine quite a bit cooler, but it could just be me.

mobil 1 20w50? The only mobil racing 4T i have seen is 10w40.
v twin is 20w50 is that what u use in summer?

yes sir. it really seems to keep the temps down on long rides, even when the weather is like 90+
