How hard is it to install a HOT CAM? I want to put one in one of my quads but I'm not really sure how hard it is or whats involved, or if its worth it just to take it to a professional? I have built many car motors but no quad motors and I really don't feel like getting cocky and trying it without some feedback from people that already have installed one themselves. Thanks for your help ahead of time...-chad-

if you can install a cam in a v8 and adjust all the rockers etc

installing an atv cam will be a breeze

Yeah I've only installed about 40-50 cams in 302 small blocks and 351's.... LOL :blah: So I guess I'll give it a shot...

Just for the record DSS Racing does make some really nice roller rockers... that are very easy to adjust with ARP studs :D

i'm a mod motor finatic.

I love the teksid 96-98 cobra mod 4.6 blocks because they are much beefier, and of course aluminum.

The only problem I have with mod motors is the fact that the only ones I will run are 4v's... and as you know 4v heads are GIGANTIC. little 4.6 thumper that looks like a big block :)

- EDIT

Sorry about the hijack.. we'll keep the car motors to pm or another thread

4V's all the way. They run good in the little 96GTS 248A option cars.
