Whenever I let off the gas my quad continues to rev... but it doesn't rev up... it just holds a steady rev and then eventually drops back down to idle. WTF???? ANYBODY???

Thanks ahead of time... -chad-

MODS:

hot cam stage 1
k&N w/outerwear
Aluminum air box
no lid
full HMF
Not sure on jetting... (bought it the way it sits)

ALSO A NEWBIE QUESTION????

Does anyone have a write up or pics or anything for the correct oil change and oil filter change procedure???? Never done one on a 400ex.... So I want to know the correct procedure and if theres and torque specs or anything? I browsed the HOW TO section and MAINTANANCE section and couldn't find a write up on this...???

Check for intake air leaks. One way to do that is to spray starter fluid or carb cleaner around the carb and intake boot joints while the engine is idleing. Listen for a change in the engine to indicate you sprayed over a leak.

Careful spraying flamable liquids around running engines!

Hanging idles often indicate a lean pilot circuit. Leaness can be from an air leak, dirty carb, wrong jetting....
