My construction business is growing fast wich is good. But I am finding the truck is just to small to do the job effeciently. I have tried to tow my race trailer to work on the days were we need the big tools but it just is not working. I'm allso spending way to much on fuel 300km per day is costing about 35$ a day.
I have just got the truck were I want it: 2.5 fabtech lift nice bfg rubber stereo and pretty good looks, but it is time for her to go.
The dealler book says $9000cnd in good cond.
What do you think?

here is a pic with the cap. It also has a yakima removable rack for the cap.

if your business is growing that is great. buy a full size and keep the toy. or you could buy the new 07 tundra. its huge! really nice truck.

sell it without the hood but give it to the buyer. it looks 100x better without the hood imo!

well if you are looking for a used truck, then you can get a nice V-8 powered one for between 5, and 15,000. You could probably find one with a lift and tires on it too.

if you want something with power, yet still decent fuel economy get a diesel. I would get a Dodge with the Cummins but thats just me.

well guys thanks for the good review on the tacoma. actually the work truck I have been looking at is actually a van. Dodge Sprinter it might just be the ugliest thing on the road. It is a 2500 or 3/4 ton and still gets 32 mpg diesel.

looks like the deal fell through as of now. the dodge dealler is only going to give me 7500 on the trade. The sprinter is 50,000 and he still won't budge. I will keep it and just wait and buy the van later.

oh ya the miles on the truck are 139,000 or 225,000km all hwy
well and maybe alil off road.

truck are great toys but they just don't work well for my type of work. A van will def be my next work vehicle. and It looks like I might just as well keep the Taco as a weekend toy.
