400ex shocks on 300ex?

Will 400ex shocks fit on my 300ex. My shocks are getting pretty loose and need new ones. Would 400ex shocks be better or should I stay with 300ex shocks. THanks

You can use 400ex shocks but you will need to fabricate an upper shock mount because the 400ex front shocks are about 2 inches longer than the 300ex shocks - that means you have more travel. If you are just looking for very casual riding and need some cheap shocks I recommend you find some good OEM 300ex and you will be good to go.
