Getting A Sport Bike, But Which One??

Here's the deal. I have about 3500 to spend to get a sport bike. I dont know what bike i can get for the price range though. I really like the 01 and up gsxr 600 or the r6. Let me know what you guys and girls think.

I know after i got my bike i never got on here anymore. But i havent had much time to ride in between school. But i got a crf 450 and now im looking to get a sport bike. Are your kids still racing?

for 3,500$ ur not gonna get a newer bike... u'll be lucky to find a 1998 or so for that price... they hold value like crazy 01 F4is, R6s, Gsxr are goin for 4,500 to 5,000$...

my friend was lookin at a 03 gsxr600 with 9,500 miles and it was like 4800$ but he ended up buyin an 05 for 6,300$

naw dude, look around, you can find some pretty good deals on bikes, i picked up a 02 gsxr600 last summer for around $3500, a good place ive noticed is stunt sites, like stuntusa.com, alot of times you can pick up good bikes at crazy low prices, and alot of times they are not stunt bikes, but clean bikes with clean titles,

oh yeah, sorry, i forgot you were lookin for which bike you should get, gsxrs are all around good bikes, and parts are everywhere and can be bought at good prices, they are fun and fast and handle great, any bike is gonna be fun, but if you want a bike that you can usually find pretty cheap look at the suzuki sv650 and sv1000, they are still very fast bikes, and they handle incredibly good, and are very fun to ride, as i would imagine most sport twins are
