400ex problem

Ok this has happened to me twice now. The first time was in the middle of a long distance race and on the last lap the quad would not go full throttle it would act as if the jetting is off but i ran for like 2-3 hours before it started acting like this. and the second time happened yesterday at tyhe end of a somewhat long ride it started to cut out from 3/4 throttle to full throttle. any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you ever adjusted your valves?

about 8 months ag but the quad was not ridden in about 3 months after the adjustment

What is the distance or gap that the valves should be adjusted intake and exhaust. I forgot:devil:

Intake: 0.10 MM (0.004 in)
Exhaust: 0.12 mm (0.005 in)
