i have a 2003 400ex and i HAVE to get new tires. I kinda crashed over the weekend and destroyed my front tires. my question is will 23X8X10 fit on the front on a stock rim and will 22x11x9 fit on the rear with stock rims. im looking at getting the gbc dirt devil at. i do alot of muddy trail riding. I'm on a very low budget and i need new tires to get by but i might as well get a cheap tire that will do its job.

Yea, they'll fit.. The last number on the tire size is the rim size.. So you said 23-8-10, then 10" is your front stock rim size....and 9" will be the rear rim size...;) The tires might be an inch or 2 bigger than stock.. thats good if you'd like more ground clearence:cool:

youd be suprised. some times i put my 12 inch frone wheels of my rancher on the back of mine for mudding. the are like 5 inches taller than stock back tires. got to gear it down when i do it tho!! no power otherwise. looks funny but works good hahaha:devil:

I just put 22x11-9 tires on the back stock rims, works well and I like the extra ground clearance. I probably will need to change out the front sprocket now cause I lost some bottom end. I split inside of the rear stock tire so went with a kenda klaw 6 ply.

i invested in some 6 ply razrs. they are heavy but they are some tough tires. i rip the crap out of them and they still look new. i figure if a tire is getting tore up in a guys normal riding he needs to invest in some tough tires. some people dont like the heavy tires but im not stuck with a 10 inch split from middle of tire down to the sidewall. that happened to my rancher. i think the six plys are a good choice!!!!:)
