no offense.. but those are girl wheelies. I think the only wheelies which count are stand up / sit down wheelies

thats like doing a pushup using your knees

sorry about the flame, "stunting" just annoys the hell out of me

im going to have to apologize, sorry about my last comment... ive been moody the last couple of days lol

everyone has to start somewhere

One tip though... if you continue to try and ride wheelies like that it will make it harder and harder to do a real wheelie. the reason being with your legs up on the back of the seat you obviously have way more leverage and 100x easier to pull the front end up

my tip just practice wheeling both ways

Sit down wheelies is all I do. I haven't been doing long ones like I use to, because on my quad 14/36 gearing with my weight and 18in tires the bottom end isn't the best.

It doesn't matter how long you can do a wheelie. I liked just watching the vid. keep it up

agreed, vids are cool regardless. And only because ive been riding forever i shouldnt have flamed... but hey just giving some advice :)

i just really think you need to get comfy doing wheelies on the balance point with your rear end on the seat that way you know the limits before you loop it

also, when trying to do what i stated keep your right foot hovering over the rear brake just incase you need it :)

I thought that was a HMF pipe at first but I noticed from the side that it was an LRD, you can hardly tell'em apart.

when it feels like its gunna tip back is where u want it. cuz then you can let off the gass a little more when its a little higher. watch though sometimes you dont have as much room as you think. hehe

yah i know i suck at wheelies. i need to get better at doin sit down wheelies but ever since i fell off once and broke my wrist ive been a girl about doing stuff where its not easy to just jump off like when im standing up. whats the best strategy to wheelie without having to pull as hard as you on on the handlebars to get the front tires up? if im not at a stand still and pop the clutch i have a hard time gettin the front end up.

an easy way for me is just stand up normal with both feet on the pegs and right when I gas I try I put all my weight towards the back of the quad and try and land with your butt as far back on the seet as possible cause if you go to far back you can always pull yourself up and get positioned right... one thing I learned is that when your sitting down riding wheelies and you start to go backwards and it feels like your gonna fall off, just hang onto the bars as hard as you can and don't worry about the quad flipping over because it will just hit the grab, then if it comes to a stop while on the grab bar all you have to do is get off and you won't hurt yourself...

Practice "dropping" the clutch. Go easy on the gas at first and you will see how much gas it takes to get her up. There is no need to pull with your arms, just drop the clutch. Also, practice on some grassy area not the street. Dont worry about tipping back, You can let it tip all the way back and rest on the grab bar. *Be Careful Though*

ya jokester thats how i do mine standing up on the footpegs just lean my *** back as soon as i tough the gas easiest way and alot less of a chance of going over or crashing into anything in front of you cuz you can see right over the bars i dont no if i got any pics of me hanging them but there wicked easy especially with a 440 :) alittle in the snow :) from last yr i got one more wheelie pic too

nice...

my stand up wheelies are super easy because im 6'4 so when i lean back i get a good amount of weight towards the back of the bike

during sit down wheelies depending if its slow or 3-4th gear ill lean as far back on the seat as i can comfortably, pop the clutch and yank up

like someone else said, just practice this over and over and over in a grass field and dont worry about tipping back.. the grab bar works wonders in a grass field to bring you to a stop

if you ditch the bike and get hung up on it usually thats worse

anyway, i used to wheelie 5-10 feet like that, kept doing it and doing it and finally am comfortable going a bit farther

Dont worry about it, eventually you'll get it, the easiet way i think is to just put your left leg in the bar and have your right foot work the brake. Most fourstroke quads have enough engine brake you wont really need it, but its always good for security.

i learned riding wheelies on quads and just progressed on to bikes, its just like anything it takes some time and practice, no ones a pro overnight.

heres a lil vid from earlier this spring. and it just shows ya how far a lil practice could take ya.

here's a perfect example of not bailing and just letting it drag on the grab bar....I almost bailed but I decided to keep it going instead and everything worked out good... I let it drag for about 3-4 feet before I tapped the rear brake and let the front end down a little to keep it going.
