starter button

I searched and couldnt find anything.
Ok I got rid of my lights and really want to put a dirtbike killbutton on to replace the stock switch cluster. Has anyone else done this? Which kind should I use would a CR one work? And should I just splice into the wiring where the stock switch goes?

if you are not worried about your lights you can just get a push button starter and wire it into your harness I just took my cluster apart and found the wires and spliced in down at the conector. saves alot of room on your bars and looks alot cleaner.

you need a KX kill swich , its look good and work fine , i put that on mine

Does it make a difference which kind you use? CR, KX, YZ
I'll have to splice in with all of them so i dont see the difference.

honda style is what you should use. but i dont think you have to. The start button on our 300ex is a cr kill button.

i just got a generic kiil button from a street bike shop it dosent have to be for a certain bike
