what all does elka do when they rebiuld your rear shock? new springs, valving, anything else?

New Spring, SSD Spring, Valving, Clean Up, and more. I forget all what they did to mine.

on showa shocks the rod that the valving is on is piond(rounded over so the nut doesn't come loose). they would have to grind that off to change the valving, right? do they lock tight it back on or round the shaft back over like shock? the reason i'm asking is i had mine rebiult this week, just oil change, and the local guy i had do it says the shock had never been revalved. i'm trying to make sure before i go accusing anybody of bad work.
