Can anybody tell me where the daggone air screw adjustment is on the FCR carb. I have it off the quad and I can not find the air screw....... I am having to do some fine tuning on it after getting it bored and all. Also what is the other jet beside the pilot....other than the main of course. I am having a slight bog at the bottom, and planning on upping the pilot also. So if anyone can tell me where the air screw is I would really appreciate it.

leck jet is the other jet. not sure what it does or its purpose. just from what ive read on these differant post. and i dont know where the A/F screw is neither. never used the FCR carb. if someone can explain what the leck jet is and its purpose would be greatly appreciated. thanks for both of use.

the screw is on the front side of the carb on the bottom. it is shaped like a "D". change it out for an external adjustable one so you can tune it while it is running. just type in fcr fuel screw in ebay and a whole bunch come up. very easy to do!!! also, somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but the leak jet controls how much fuel goes into the bowl from the accelerator pump. some people say to change it to either a 50 or a 55 to correct the low end bog.

So would you replace the leak jet instead of the pilot ? It is idling fine.......just got a touch of low bog, and I have had to actually stall in the air on a big jump..OUCH !!!!@ Didn't feel to good either. Thanks for the info.

On the 06 follow the above advice for the air/fuel screw.
As far as the "leak" jet, change to a 50. i was also stalling in the air; I initially thought it was the float, but was wrong. Now my throttle response is instant.

Actually I checked mine and I have 75 in it. I got it bored and all when I got my motor done. Im gonna try the air screw and maybe up the pilot one.(If you all think that will work) or any other suggestions. I'll see how that will go. Thanks for your help.

It should have nothing to do with your bore size! If I remember correctly 75 is stock which is too big,the acc. pump floods the carb. If you can't get rid of the bog; try the 50-55 leak.

Thanks man.......I wont for sure what the stock was. I just thought thats what they might have put in to help. I'll try that. Who carries the leak jets ???????

Because of the way leak jets work, thier sizing is opposite other jets. Smaller numbers deliver more fuel, bigger numbers deliver less fuel.

everything said so far is correct...it makes a big difference with just changing the leak jet
